The Clinton Yellowjackets softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Russellville Cyclones to 4 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Clinton moves its record to 14-7 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR) to clash with the Warhawks in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 23. The Warhawks come into the game with a record of 12-3. Mt. Vernon-Enola won 11-1 in their recent league game against Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR)

In their next game, the Cyclones clash with the Harrison Goblins (Harrison, AR) in a 5A West game, on Tuesday, April 23. Russellville will attempt to move on its 9-15 season record.
