The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) and the visiting D.H. Conley Vikings (Greenville, NC), observed Wakefield's softball team get by D.H. Conley by a tally of 3-0.

The Wolverines (17-2) will now prepare for their bout against Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Huskies go into the Northern Athletic 4A bout with a 11-7 record. In their last bout, Heritage was routed by Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC), 3-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Jacksonville Cardinals (Jacksonville, NC) in a Big East 3A/4A bout, on Tuesday, April 23. D.H. Conley will attempt to advance on its 13-4 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 11-2 non-league loss to Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC).
