With the triumph, Hempfield Area improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Spartans host Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA) to clash with the Big Macs in a WPIAL 6A 1 game on Wednesday, April 24. The Big Macs come into the game with a record of 4-7. Canon-McMillan lost 7-3 in their recent league game against North Allegheny (Wexford, PA)

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Belle Vernon Leopards (Belle Vernon, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 2 game, on Wednesday, April 24. Elizabeth Forward will attempt to improve on its 9-1 season record.
