The Sacopee Valley Hawks softball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Gray-New Gloucester Patriots to 18 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Sacopee Valley improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Hawks travel to Lake Region (Naples, ME) to clash with the Lakers in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 23. The Lakers come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the North Yarmouth Academy Panthers (Yarmouth, ME) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 24. Gray-New Gloucester will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 4-1 record after their 17-2 non-league win over Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME).
