The Mallards (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against St. Bede (Peru, IL). The Bruins go into the Tri-County battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, St. Bede notched a victory over Marquette (Ottawa, IL), 4-2, in a league battle.

The Rebels now possess a 2-15 record. They play next when they travel to Mercer County for a Lincoln Trail battle on Tuesday, April 23. Stark County will confront a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 8-5 league loss to Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] (Woodhull, IL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 7-6.
