The Hoosick Falls Panthers softball team scored 4 runs and limited the host Niskayuna Silver Warriors to 1 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Panthers (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Waterford-Halfmoon (Waterford, NY). The Fordians go into the Section 2 Wasaren battle with a 0-0 record.

The Silver Warriors now possess a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Shenendehowa for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue battle on Wednesday, April 24. Niskayuna will meet a Plainsmen squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Columbia (East Greenbush, NY). The Plainsmen record now stands at 8-0.
