In Monday's non-league contest, the Hunterdon Central Red Devils (Flemington, NJ) softball team held off the visiting St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ), by a margin of 7-6.

With the triumph, Hunterdon Central moves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Red Devils host Immaculata (Somerville, NJ) to play the Spartans in a Skyland - Delaware contest on Tuesday, April 23. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 8-1. Immaculata won 4-3 in their recent non-league contest against Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ)

In their next game, the Trojans play the J.P. Stevens Hawks (Edison, NJ) in a GMC - Red contest, on Wednesday, April 24. St. Thomas Aquinas will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 9-3 league loss to Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ).
