The Oswego Panthers triumphed over the visiting Joliet Central Steelmen softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Panthers play the Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) in a Suburban Prairie - South challenge, on Tuesday, April 23. Oswego will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 13-2 league loss to Yorkville (Yorkville, IL).

The Steelmen (2-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Indians enter the Suburban Prairie - South challenge with a 15-1 record. In their last challenge, Minooka edged Romeoville (Romeoville, IL), 10-7, in a league challenge.
