The Marcellus Mustangs softball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting West Genesee Wildcats to 0 in the Mustangs non-league win on Monday.

The Mustangs now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jordan-Elbridge for a Section 3 Liberty 2 battle on Wednesday, April 24. Marcellus will confront a Eagles team coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Fulton (Fulton, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, West Genesee moves to 2-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY) to confront the Hornets in a Section 3 Metro battle on Tuesday, April 23. The Hornets come into the battle with a record of 3-5. Fayetteville-Manlius won 10-2 in their recent non-league battle against Central Square (Central Square, NY)
