The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Morton Potters (Morton, IL) and the host Richwoods Knights (Peoria, IL), observed Morton's softball team notch a victory over Richwoods by a final score of 12-4.

The Potters (7-7) will now prepare for their bout against Washington (Washington, IL). The Panthers go into the Mid-Illini bout with a 6-8 record. In their last bout, Washington was routed by East Peoria (East Peoria, IL), 3-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Danville Vikings (Danville, IL) in a Big Twelve bout, on Tuesday, April 23. Richwoods will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Centennial (Champaign, IL).
