North Adams Green Devils (Seaman, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays (Ripley, OH), 7-5 in a league challenge.

The Green Devils now sport a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they host West Union for a Southern Hills Athletic challenge on Tuesday, April 23. North Adams will face a Dragons squad coming off a 14-4 league loss to Whiteoak (Mowrystown, OH). The Dragons record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Blue jays host Fairfield (Leesburg, OH) to face the Lions in a Southern Hills Athletic challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 10-5. Fairfield won 10-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, OH)
