Pitman Panthers (Pitman, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Penns Grove Red Devils (Carneys Point, NJ), 18-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Salem for a Tri-County - Classic challenge on Wednesday, April 24. Pitman will face a Rams squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Gloucester Catholic (Gloucester City, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Penns Grove falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Glassboro (Glassboro, NJ) to face the Bulldogs in a Tri-County - Diamond challenge on Wednesday, April 24. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 1-8. Glassboro lost 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Pennsville Memorial (Pennsville, NJ)
