In Monday's league outing, the visiting Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers softball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Penns Valley Area Rams.

Coming up next, the Mountaineers battle the Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands 1 outing, on Tuesday, April 23. Philipsburg-Osceola will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Dragons enter the outing with a 5-4 record after their 3-2 league win over Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA).
