California High School Softball - San Juan can't hold off Sacramento

April 22, 2024: Citrus Heights, CA 95610

The Sacramento Dragons softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host San Juan Spartans to 11 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Sacramento moves its record to 2-10 on the year. The Dragons travel to Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA) to clash with the Cougars in a Capital Athletic League game on Tuesday, April 23. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 3-12. Del Campo lost 9-1 in their recent non-league game against Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA)

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Rio Vista Rams (Rio Vista, CA) in a Sierra Delta League game, on Tuesday, April 23. San Juan will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 6-5 record after their 17-4 league win over Highlands (North Highlands, CA).
