Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Friends' Central prevails Academy of the New Church

The Friends' Central baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Academy of the New Church Lions to 6 in the league win on Tuesday.

The now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Central for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 23. Friends' Central will play a Lancers team coming off a 8-0 league win over Masterman (Philadelphia, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 8-4.

With the defeat, Academy of the New Church drops to 3-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Abington Friends (Jenkintown, PA) to play the in a Friends Schools League test on Friday, April 25. The go into the test with a record of 5-4. Abington Friends lost 12-0 in their recent league test against Shipley (Bryn Mawr, PA)
