North Carolina High School Baseball - Sun Valley defeats Ballantyne Ridge

The Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) baseball trounced the host Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC), 13-6 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 12-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Porter Ridge for a Southern Carolina 4A challenge on Monday, April 28.

With the defeat, Ballantyne Ridge drops to 6-16 on the year. The Wolves host Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC) to play the Warriors in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 23. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 18-4. Indian Land won 12-0 in their recent non-league test against Lancaster (Lancaster, SC)
