The Bellows Falls Terriers baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Springfield Cosmos to 1 in the Terriers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Terriers now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fair Haven for a SVL B test on Friday, April 25. Bellows Falls will play a Slaters team coming off a 14-6 league loss to Hartford (White River Junction, VT). The Slaters record now stands at 1-4.
With the defeat, Springfield drops to 0-4 on the year. The Cosmos travel to Woodstock (Woodstock, VT) to play the Wasps in a SVL C test on Thursday, April 24. The Wasps go into the test with a record of 3-0. Woodstock won 11-6 in their recent league test against West Rutland (West Rutland, VT)
