The South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN) baseball got by the host Bloomfield Cardinals (Bloomfield, IN), 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they host Pike Central for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24. South Knox will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Eastern Greene (Bloomfield, IN). The Chargers record now stands at 1-8.

With the defeat, Bloomfield drops to 4-6 on the year. The Cardinals travel to North Daviess (Elnora, IN) to clash with the Cougars in a Southwestern Indiana challenge on Wednesday, April 23. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 5-3. North Daviess won 10-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Northeast Dubois (Dubois, IN)
