The Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL) baseball the visiting Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL), 4-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Crusaders now own a 16-1 record. They take the field next when they host Andrean for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24. Brother Rice will clash with a Fighting 59ers team coming off a 11-1 league win over Hobart (Hobart, IN). The Fighting 59ers record now stands at 10-0.
With the defeat, Lincoln-Way East drops to 13-4 on the year. The Griffins travel to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL) to clash with the Knights in a Southwest Suburban challenge on Wednesday, April 23. The Knights go into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Lincoln-Way Central won 8-5 in their recent league challenge against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL)
