Ohio High School Baseball - Elgin holds off Waynesfield-Goshen

The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Elgin Comets (Marion, OH) and the visiting Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers (Waynesfield, OH), saw Elgin's baseball team gain a win over Waynesfield-Goshen by a tally of 5-1.

The Comets (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Wynford (Bucyrus, OH). The Royals enter the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Wynford was overwhelmed by Carey (Carey, OH), 11-4, in a league battle.

Next, the Tigers face the Jefferson Wildcats (Delphos, OH) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 24. Waynesfield-Goshen will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 0-13 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Elida (Elida, OH).
