The Shiloh Christian Skyhawks baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Hettinger/Scranton/New England Night Hawks to 1 in the Skyhawks league win on Tuesday.
The Skyhawks now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beulah for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 29. Shiloh Christian will clash with a Miners team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Stanley (Stanley, ND). The Miners record now stands at 5-4.
With the defeat, Hettinger/Scranton/New England drops to 2-2 on the year. The Night hawks host Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] (Belfield, ND) to clash with the Cougars in a Class B - Region VIII test on Thursday, April 24. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 1-5.
