The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Park Hill Trojans (Kansas City, MO) and the host Kearney Bulldogs (Kearney, MO), saw Park Hill's baseball team gain a win over Kearney by a tally of 12-2.

The Trojans (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against North Kansas City (North Kansas City, MO). The Hornets enter the Class 6 District 8 battle with a 4-14 record. In their last battle, North Kansas City was overwhelmed by Raytown South (Raytown, MO), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Platte County Pirates (Platte City, MO) in a Class 5 District 8 battle, on Friday, April 25. Kearney will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Pirates enter the battle with a 14-3 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Truman (Independence, MO).
