Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Lower Merion holds off Penncrest

The Lower Merion Aces baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Penncrest Lions to 8 in the Aces league win on Tuesday.

The Aces now hold a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Springfield for a Central test on Wednesday, April 23. Lower Merion will play a Cougars team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Ridley (Folsom, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-9.

With the defeat, Penncrest drops to 3-8 on the year. The Lions travel to Conestoga (Berwyn, PA) to play the Pioneers in a Central test on Wednesday, April 23. The Pioneers go into the test with a record of 4-6. Conestoga won 10-8 in their recent non-league test against Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, PA)
