Rhode Island High School Baseball - Tiverton edges Mt. Pleasant

In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Tiverton Tigers baseball team scored a close 7-5 win over the Mt. Pleasant Kilties.

The Tigers (5-6) will now prepare for their game against North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI). The Northmen go into the Division 3 game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, North Smithfield by Rogers (Newport, RI), 20-9, in a non-league game.

Next, the Kilties play the Paul Cuffee (Providence, RI) in a Division 3 game, on Wednesday, April 23. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The go into the game with a 0-8 record after their 12-2 league loss to Tolman (Pawtucket, RI).
