The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Seymour Eagles (Seymour, TN) and the visiting William Blount Governors (Maryville, TN), saw Seymour's baseball team gain a win over William Blount by a tally of 11-1.

The Eagles (16-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Morristown-Hamblen West (Morristown, TN). The Trojans go into the non-league challenge with a 14-9 record. In their last challenge, Morristown-Hamblen West was overwhelmed by Grace Christian Academy (Knoxville, TN), 10-3, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, William Blount drops to 15-15 on the year. The Governors travel to Farragut (Knoxville, TN) to clash with the Admirals in a 4A District 4 challenge on Wednesday, April 23. The Admirals go into the challenge with a record of 19-6.
