Illinois High School Volleyball - Lincoln-Way Central over Plainfield East

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Plainfield East Bengals.
The Knights (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins come into the Southwest Suburban challenge with a 12-2 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln-Way East beat Minooka (Minooka, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bengals play the Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL) in a Suburban Prarie challenge, on Thursday, April 24. Plainfield East will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL).
