The St. Mark's Spartans baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Appoquinimink Jaguars to 3 in the Spartans non-league win on Tuesday.
The Spartans now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salesianum for a non-league test on Sunday, April 27. St. Mark's will clash with a Sallies team coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, PA). The Sallies record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Appoquinimink drops to 0-1 on the year. The Jaguars host Salesianum (Wilmington, DE) to clash with the Sallies in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 29. The Sallies go into the test with a record of 3-1.
