The Newark Academy Minutemen lacrosse squad scored 15 points and limited the visiting Morris Catholic Crusaders to 12 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Minutemen now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Hackettstown for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24. Newark Academy will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 15-8 non-league win over Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Morris Catholic falls to 4-3 on the year. The Crusaders host Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Lenape Valley won 11-2 in their recent non-league challenge against North Warren Regional (Blairstown, NJ)
