The Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) lacrosse nudged the visiting Tandem Friends Badgers (Charlottesville, VA), 8-7 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Fighting Owls now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Langley for a non-league outing on Friday, April 25. Wakefield School will face a Saxons squad coming off a 13-5 non-league win over George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA). The Saxons record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Tandem Friends falls to 3-3 on the year. The Badgers host Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA) to face the Tigers in a non-league outing on Friday, April 25. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Woodberry Forest won 7-6 in their recent non-league outing against Salem (Salem, VA)
