Virginia High School Softball - Amherst County bounces Jefferson Forest

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA) and the visiting Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA), observed Amherst County's softball team get by Jefferson Forest by a tally of 11-5.

The Lancers (9-2) will now prepare for their bout against Liberty (Bedford, VA). The Minutemen go into the non-league bout with a 2-2 record.

In their next game, the Cavaliers clash with the Brookville Bees (Lynchburg, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 25. Jefferson Forest will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Bees go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA).
