In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Guilford Grizzlies lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-6 triumph over the Amity Regional Spartans.

The Grizzlies (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Notre Dame (West Haven, CT). The Green Knights go into the Southern Connecticut challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Notre Dame held off Xavier (Middletown, CT), 16-4, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Hand Tigers (Madison, CT) in a Southern Connecticut challenge, on Thursday, April 24. Amity Regional will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 20-2 league loss to Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT).
