In Tuesday's non-league test, the Hawthorne Bears (Hawthorne, NJ) lacrosse team overwhelmed the visiting Morris Catholic Crusaders (Denville, NJ), by a count of 14-7.

Next up, the Bears battle the Union Catholic Vikings (Scotch Plains, NJ) in a Dowling test, on Thursday, April 24. Hawthorne will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Vikings enter the test with a 2-3 record after their 15-8 league win over Eastern Christian (North Haledon, NJ).

The Crusaders (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Pompton Lakes (Pompton Lakes, NJ). The Cardinals enter the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Pompton Lakes got by West Orange (West Orange, NJ), 8-2, in a league test.
