The James Monroe Yellow Jackets lacrosse squad scored 19 points and limited the host Unity Reed Lions to 4 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Yellow Jackets now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Fauquier for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 24. James Monroe will face a Falcons squad coming off a 16-4 non-league loss to Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Unity Reed falls to 3-6 on the year. The Lions host Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA) to face the Yellowjackets in a Cedar Run outing on Thursday, April 24. The Yellowjackets go into the outing with a record of 5-4. Osbourn Park lost 21-0 in their recent league outing against Battlefield (Haymarket, VA)
