The Dyer County Choctaws soccer team (Newbern, TN), was overwhelmed 9-0 in Tuesday's league match with the host South Gibson Hornets (Medina, TN)
With the triumph, South Gibson moves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Hornets host Madison (Jackson, TN) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Thursday, April 24. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 10-1. Madison won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against University School of Jackson (Jackson, TN)
The Choctaws now sport a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crockett County for a AA District 13 match on Friday, April 25. Dyer County will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 4-1 league win over Obion County (Troy, TN). The Cavaliers record now stands at 9-3.
