Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings (Vinton, IA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Grinnell moves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Boone (Boone, IA) to meet the Toreadors in a non-league test on Saturday, April 26. The Toreadors come into the test with a record of 2-2.

The Vikings now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Solon for a non-league test on Thursday, April 24. Vinton-Shellsburg will meet a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 league win over Independence (Independence, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 5-7.
