Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Le Mars Bulldogs (Le Mars, IA) and the host Jefferson Yellowjackets (Council Bluffs, IA), saw Le Mars's soccer squad triumph over Jefferson by a count of 8-1.
The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Unity Christian (Orange City, IA). The Knights enter the non-league battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Unity Christian tipped Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Yellowjackets battle the Treynor Cardinals (Treynor, IA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 25. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 4-0 record after their 4-4 non-league Glenwood (Glenwood, IA).
