Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the McAlester Buffaloes (McAlester, OK) and the host Nathan Hale Rangers (Tulsa, OK), saw McAlester's soccer squad hold off Nathan Hale by a count of 1-0.

The Buffaloes (13-5) will now prepare for their battle against Durant (Durant, OK). The Lions enter the 5A District 4 battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Durant was edged by Bishop Kelley (Tulsa, OK), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Rangers battle the Will Rogers College Ropers (Tulsa, OK) in a 5A District 4 battle, on Friday, April 25. Nathan Hale will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Ropers go into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 2-1 league win over Coweta (Coweta, OK).
