The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the West Prairie Cyclones (Sciota, IL) and the visiting Augusta Southeastern Suns (Augusta, IL), observed West Prairie's softball team get by Augusta Southeastern by a tally of 8-1.

The Cyclones (5-11) will now prepare for their bout against Beardstown (Beardstown, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 11-7 record. In their last bout, Beardstown tipped Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL), 1-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Suns battle the Seymour Indians (Payson, IL) in a West Central bout, on Monday, April 28. Augusta Southeastern will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Barry Western (Barry, IL).
