The Aurora Central Catholic Chargers softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting West Aurora Blackhawks to 3 in the Chargers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Chargers now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seneca for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 23. Aurora Central Catholic will confront a Fighting Irish team coming off a 15-0 league win over Woodland (Streator, IL). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 16-0.

With the loss, West Aurora moves to 8-7 on the season. The Blackhawks travel to Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL) to confront the Raiders in a Upstate Eight battle on Thursday, April 24. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 6-7. Glenbard South won 14-7 in their recent league battle against Fenton (Bensenville, IL)
