The Gladwin Flying G's softball squad (Gladwin, MI), was edged 13-12 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Beaverton Beavers (Beaverton, MI)

With the triumph, Beaverton improves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Beavers host Shepherd (Shepherd, MI) to face the Bluejays in a Jack Pine contest on Thursday, April 24. The Bluejays enter the contest with a record of 5-5. Shepherd won 15-5 in their recent league contest against Pinconning (Pinconning, MI)

The Flying G's now hold a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Ogemaw Heights for a non-league contest on Thursday, April 24. Gladwin will face a Falcons squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 0-4.
