The Ellington Knights softball squad (Ellington, CT), was edged 12-11 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Bolton Bulldogs (Bolton, CT)

With the triumph, Bolton improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Rockville (Vernon, CT) to face the Rams in a North Central Connecticut contest on Thursday, April 24. The Rams enter the contest with a record of 0-3. Rockville lost 18-0 in their recent non-league contest against Cromwell (Cromwell, CT)

The Knights now hold a 6-1 record. They play next when they host East Windsor for a North Central Connecticut contest on Thursday, April 24. Ellington will face a Panthers squad coming off a 16-2 league loss to Granby Memorial (Granby, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
