The Brewer Bears softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Springtown Porcupines to 1 in the Bears non-league win on Tuesday.

The Bears now possess a 18-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Argyle for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 24. Brewer will confront a Eagles team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 15-14.

With the loss, Springtown moves to 18-8 on the season. The Porcupines host Southwest (Fort Worth, TX) to confront the Raiders in a non-league battle on Friday, April 25. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 5-9. Southwest lost 15-14 in their recent league battle against Western Hills (Fort Worth, TX)
