Greenup County Musketeers (Greenup, KY) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV), 5-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Greenup County improves its record to 16-2 on the year. The Musketeers host Russell (Russell, KY) to play the Red Devils in a District 63 game on Thursday, April 24. The Red Devils enter the game with a record of 7-12. Russell won 7-0 in their recent non-league game against Valley (Lucasville, OH)

The Knights now hold a 16-3 record. They play next when they host Riverside for a Mountain State game on Thursday, April 24. Cabell Midland will play a Warriors squad coming off a 12-4 league win over George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 16-6.
