The Marcellus Mustangs triumphed over the host Christian Brothers Academy Brothers softball squad by a count of 9-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs play the Mexico Tigers (Mexico, NY) in a Section 3 Liberty 1 challenge, on Thursday, April 24. Marcellus will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 13-2 non-league loss to Oswego (Oswego, NY).
The Brothers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mexico (Mexico, NY). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Mexico was routed by Marcellus (Marcellus, NY), 15-0, in a league challenge.
