New York High School Softball - Ichabod Crane held off by Columbia

The Columbia Blue Devils got by the visiting Ichabod Crane Riders softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Blue Devils meet the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks (Saratoga Springs, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge, on Wednesday, April 23. Columbia will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 11-6 league win over Albany (Albany, NY).
The Riders (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY). The Blackbirds go into the Section 2 Colonial challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Voorheesville was nudged by Cohoes (Cohoes, NY), 4-0, in a league challenge.
