The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) and the host Fargo North Spartans (Fargo, ND), observed Red River's softball team get by Fargo North by a tally of 7-4.

The Roughriders (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against West Fargo (West Fargo, ND). The Packers go into the Class A - East Region bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, West Fargo tipped Grand Forks Central (Grand Forks, ND), 15-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Sheyenne Mustangs (West Fargo, ND) in a Class A - East Region bout, on Thursday, April 24. Fargo North will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 40-0 league win over Valley City (Valley City, ND).
