The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Jefferson Jaguars (Bloomington, MN) and the host Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN), observed Jefferson's softball team get by Shakopee by a tally of 9-2.

The Jaguars (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against Chaska (Chaska, MN). The Hawks go into the Metro West bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Chaska was routed by St. Louis Park (St. Louis Park, MN), 13-9, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Sabers clash with the Eagan Wildcats (Eagan, MN) in a South Suburban Conference bout, on Thursday, April 24. Shakopee will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 7-6 league loss to Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN).
