The Lapel Bulldogs softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Mississinewa Indians to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Muncie Central for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 23. Lapel will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 29-0 non-league loss to Yorktown (Yorktown, IN). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Mississinewa moves to 6-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Frankton (Frankton, IN) to confront the Eagles in a Central Indiana battle on Thursday, April 24. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 6-2. Frankton won 11-3 in their recent non-league battle against Anderson (Anderson, IN)
