In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Nipmuc Regional Warriors softball team scored a tight 1-0 win over the Millbury Woolies.
The Warriors (8-0) will now prepare for their match against Westborough (Westborough, MA). The Rangers come into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Westborough was nipped by Wachusett Regional (Holden, MA), 10-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Woolies confront the West Boylston Lions (West Boylston, MA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 24. Millbury will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 5-2 record after their 7-4 league win over Ayer Shirley (Ayer, MA).
