The Spartans (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Bruins go into the River Ridge bout with a 5-5 record. In their last bout, Blacksburg was routed by Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA), 19-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 24. Patrick Henry will attempt to advance on its 1-13 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 12-2 league loss to Patrick County (Stuart, VA).
